About Emily:

I have been photographing babies, families and weddings with a passion and desire to see people’s personalities as they giggle, smile, frown, spit-up, cuddle, run, jump and share how madly in love they are in front of the camera! And boy do I love it!   I love people in love. I love baby fat because it makes me giggle, I love when kids try to dress themselves. When a bride cries as she walks down the isle I usually cry with her. Families that laugh together are my favorite and I find it grumpy kids to be endearing.
Taking photos is just my way in sharing how I see the world!

Q:Where are you located?

A:Hudson WI!

Q:How long have you been in business?

A:I have been shooting weddings for 4 years now. I just love my job.

Q:What is your favorite location to photograph?

A:I love rural settings…the tall grasses, the rustic barns, the vintage colors and worn-out look…..

Q:How would you describe your style of photography?

A:Playful….I think I tend to laugh harder while shooting than the bride or family does. My goal is to capture real people in their real relationships having fun.

Q:What inspires you?

A:Color, good design, sipping hot cider on a chilly day, vintage patterns, a family laughing together, licking a melty ice cream cone, taking a stroll with my pug, a beautiful glowing bride….really, the simple things in life are what make me “tick”. I try and live my life simply and I like that.

Q:Who inspires you?

A:I KNOW this list could be endless but here is the tip of the iceberg: Jasmine Star for being a down-to-earth, honest rock star of a photographer, The Wiebners for knowing how balance owning a business and family life amazingly, Sarah Q for being really cute, trendy and simply awesome with her photographs, Bobbi & Mike for just being rad, AND of course my family, pug and husband for loving me no matter how many hours I sit in front of the computer (and encourage me on my crabby days)!
